AutoCrit is able to seamlessly integrate with Grammarly, alllowing you to check spelling and grammar in your manuscript with your preferred spell-checking browser extension.
Utilizing the Grammarly within AutoCrit remains free and also entirely within your control—you can enable and disable it as needed.
If you're interested in combining Grammarly's power within AutoCrit, here's how you can make it happen:
Add an extension to your internet browser.
Sign up for a Free Grammarly account if you haven't already.
If you don't already have a Grammarly account, and don't have Grammarly installed in your browser, please see below for a walk-through:
1. Go to the Grammarly signup page
To get there, click this link: https://www.grammarly.com/signup
2. Sign up using your email address or via Google, Facebook, or Apple.
If you choose to sign up with your email, enter your email address, create a strong password (use 8 characters or more), and add your name.
If you prefer to use one of your social accounts, you can sign up via Google, Facebook, or Apple.
Click on "Agree and Sign up" if you're satisfied with the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy to proceed.
3. Follow the Grammarly prompts
Once you've signed up, you will have to answer the following prompt by Grammarly:
Select the applicable option for your writing needs here and press "Next":
(If applicable) select the other projects you might use Grammarly for and press "Next". At this point, I would recommend clicking on "Skip personalization". You can return at a later stage to add these details to your Grammarly profile if you would like to do so
4. You're all set!
when you see this screen, it means you've successfully created your Grammarly account:
