Here are the export options available in AutoCrit, allowing you to download your work for external access or printing:

Option 1: Export Manuscript From Inside the File

With a file open, the export button is in the upper-right corner of your screen, under the Save icon.

Here you can choose to export the file in various formats: .docx, .rtf, .txt, .epub (ebook format), or .pdf.

Click the gear icon to edit the formatting and front matter of your .epub or .pdf files. You can read more about the formatting options for these formats here.

For .docx files, you also have an option to export your AutoCrit report highlights with the text. For this to work, the highlights must be currently visible on your screen.

To have report highlights shown in your document, open the relevant report and click the "Show All" option. See this example with the adverbs report:

To export them with your manuscript, choose the "Export with highlights" option.

The exported file will be saved in the same location where your browser automatically saves downloaded files. This is often your device's "Downloads" folder.

Option 2: Export Files From Your Projects Menu

You can export files from your Projects page as well

Click the 3 dots, in the corner of the file, and then click the Export format you need:

This allows you to export without opening the file first.

You can choose to export the file in a variety of formats, and the exported file will be saved in your default browser downloads folder.
