How to upload multiple chapters to a single document

This short article will show you how to combine separate files into one manuscript.

AutoCrit has introduced a way to import and export chapters separately which can be useful for a range of use cases. Here's how you can take advantage of this amazing new feature to upload multiple chapter files to a single document.

Step 1 - Click to Upload

On your Writer's Desk projects area, click the "Upload File" Button.


Step 2 - Drag'n'drop or Select Files

This will open the below window. Click on the area that says "Drag'n'drop your file here, or click to select it"

Step 3 - Selecting Your Files

This will open a window to select your files from your device:

Click and hold to select multiple files or hold the Ctrl button while single-clicking on the files you wish to add as one manuscript into AutoCrit.

Step 4 - Clicking to Upload

After selecting your chapter files click the "Open" button.

Step 5 Organizing Your Uploads

This window will appear which allows you to change the order of your files to how you want them to appear in your final document

Move your chapters by clicking and holding these icons to drag them to where you want them to appear in your document:

Step 6 - Combining Into One Document

Click "Combine into one file", and you're all set!
