You can convert speech to text within the AutoCrit editor using the dictate feature.
Here are the steps needed to make this happen:
Choose a location in your file were you want text to be inserted. You should have a "blinking" cursor at this location.
In the right side bar, click on the dictate icon as shown in the image above.
Click on the microphone icon to begin recording. You may be asked to allow AutoCrit to use your microphone.
Speak clearly into your microphone, pausing at locations that feel natural (end of sentences, commas...). You do not need to speak the punction elements as the system will auto-detect these.
Your text will appear and be converted on the page at the location of your cursor.
Click on the Stop icon to complete the task.
