To delete a file, first access your list of saved files in the Writers Desk dashboard as shown here:

Clicking on the folder name will open the folder to reveal the individual files. You can access the folder menu or file menu by clicking on the 3 dots to the right of the name as shown above.

This menu allows for a variety of file management options. One of which is Delete.

Keep in mind, choosing the delete option at the folder level will delete all files in that folder.

Also note the Demo and Uncategorized folders cannot be deleted.
