Looking for that word that's on the tip of your tongue? Give our handy Smart Thesaurus a try.
Step 1:
Click on the Thesaurus icon on the right side menu bar.
Step 2:
Select a word in your manuscript to see relevant synonyms in the Thesaurus area.
You can choose any word from the list displayed in the right sidebar, and the word search will automatically update.
AutoCrit's Smart Thesaurus uses the context of the word to suggest words relevant to the chosen word, so you don't end up with long lists of irrelevant words.
Step 3:
You can also toggle the search over from Thesaurus to Dictionary to look up the definition of the selected word. This way, you can toggle back and forth from definitions to synonyms with a click of a button.
